Brian Kennedy, MS, LPC-S
I was educated in San Antonio, Texas where I earned a Master of Science in Psychology from Our Lady of the Lake University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from St. Mary’s University. I have several years of combined training and post-graduate work in the following areas: adolescent residential treatment, inpatient and outpatient group therapy, community counseling clinics, and the public school setting. I received additional internship training with survivors of sexual assault. In addition to clinical work, I have taught as an adjunct faculty professor of psychology at the community college and university level.
In April of 2019, I was accepted as a training candidate to the Inter-Regional Society of Jungian Analysts. My therapeutic approach is grounded in analytical psychology.
Austin has been my home for over 10 years and I have enjoyed all that this amazing city has to offer. Exploring local foodie spots, going for a bike ride, and walking the hike and bike trail of Town Lake are a few things I enjoy.
